Association for sandplay therapy
The Association for Sandplay Therapy, Inc., is an international professional organization dedicated to the education and registration of mental health professionals as Sandplay Therapists in the tradition of Dora Kalff, founder of the Sandplay method, and the theory of Carl Jung. The organization also certifies the training and materials used by STR-CT members (Sandplay supervisors and trainers). The Association for Sandplay Therapy is founded on the principles of clarity of mind, heart, and works in Sandplay Therapy, fully recognizing that the practice of Sandplay is a tremendous responsibility and honor. In order for our work in Sandplay to be characterized by these qualities, Association members recognize that we must live lives of personal and social integrity, with kindness, compassion, humility, transparency, and a willingness to play. The Association operates under the supervision of the Council of Mentors, who distribute the business and administrative duties on behalf of the Association and serve as a source of wisdom and guidance for the Association.
